Product Description
Pro TG 100 is a colorfast, cement-based grout designed for filling joints in various ceramic tiles and natural stone applications. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, Pro TG 100 is an excellent choice for grouting in dry areas.
Advantages
Prevents mold growth.
Strong adhesion.
Does not stain tiles.
Superior UV resistance.
Available in various colors.
Crack-resistant.
No sealer needed after application.
Preparation of Surface
Before starting the grouting process, ensure the tile adhesive has fully set. It is recommended to use tile adhesives from the Profix range with Pro TG 100. Allow the tile adhesive to dry for approximately 24 hours. Remove any spacers, lugs, excess adhesive, or loose materials from the grout joints. Ensure the joints are clean and free of dust, debris, or contaminants that could affect adhesion. Neutralize background suction by applying clean potable water, but ensure no standing water remains in the joints, as it may cause de-bonding.
Preparation of Product
Pour the pre-measured clean water into a clean bucket, then gradually add the grout powder while stirring continuously until a smooth, lump-free, toothpaste-like consistency is reached. To prevent the material from settling at the bottom, add the powder over the water. Ensure the mixing container is clean, non-corrosive, and uncontaminated. Use only potable water for mixing. For best results, it is recommended to mix mechanically using a mortar mixer or another suitable mechanical method to achieve a consistent, lump-free mixture.
Application
Apply Pro TG 100 to the tile joints using a rubber spatula, ensuring the grout is thoroughly compacted into the joints. Remove any excess grout from the tile surface with a dry cloth or sponge. Use a damp sponge to clean off any remaining grout, rinsing the sponge frequently to aid in the cleaning process.
