Product Description

SBR-Pro Lite 3110 is an economical aqueous dispersion of styrene-butadiene co-polymer with moderate stability against electrolytes. It includes an anionic/non-ionic emulsifier system and is free from solvents and plasticizers. Designed for budget-sensitive projects, SBR-Pro Lite 3110 offers reliable performance for general applications while maintaining cost efficiency.

Advantages

  • Economical and cost-effective solution.

  • Improves workability and adhesion in cement mixes.

  • Enhances flexibility and durability of applied materials.

  • Reduces porosity, offering moderate resistance to aggressive elements.

  • Suitable for general-purpose applications.

  • Compatible with all types of cement.

  • Non-toxic and safe to use.

  • Ideal for budget-sensitive projects requiring reliable performance.

Application

As a Bonding Slurry Coat: Combine the recommended dosage of SBR-Pro Lite 3110 with a premeasured amount of water in a suitable container and mix thoroughly. Gradually add cement while stirring, and blend using a slow-speed drill fitted with a paddle mixer until a smooth consistency is achieved.

As an Additive: Use a forced-action mixer or a low-speed drill with a paddle attachment. Measure and dry blend the required quantities of cement and sand in the mixer for one minute. With the mixer running, add the premixed SBR-Pro Lite 3110 and clean water. Mix for approximately 3 minutes to ensure even dispersion in the sand-cement mixture. Adjust the amount of water slightly if needed, but do not exceed the recommended dosage. Continue mixing until a uniform and homogenous material is achieved.

Technical Sheet

Coverage

Shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in original, unopened packaging under proper warehouse conditions. Exposure to extreme temperatures or humidity may shorten the shelf life.

Shelf Life

As a Neat Bonding Agent: Coverage is approximately 5-7 m² per liter per coat, depending on the substrate's texture and porosity.

As an Additive: For tile adhesives, bedding mortars, sand-cement renders, plasters, and screeds, the recommended dosage ranges from 10% to 20% by weight of cement. When used in a mix design, adhere to the specified proportions to achieve optimal performance.

Product Preservation

SBR-Pro Lite 3110 is protected against bacterial and fungal growth. For enhanced preservation in the final product, it should be re-treated with appropriate biocides during production.
