Water Shield Pro is a powder-based cement additive that provides waterproofing, reduces permeability and efflorescence absorption, enhances long-term durability, and acts as a shrinkage-reducing agent for concrete and mortar.

Preparation & Application

The optimal dosage of Water Shield Pro should be determined through trials based on specific materials and conditions. As a guideline, the typical dosage ranges from 2–3% by weight of cement (e.g., 1kg of Water Shield Pro per 50kg of cement). For maximum effectiveness, the water-cement ratio should not exceed 0.40. Once the correct dosage is determined, add the required amount to the mix, ideally with or immediately after the cement. Ensure thorough mixing until the concrete or mortar is homogeneous. It's crucial to follow good concreting and mortar-making practices at every stage of the application process.

Shelf Life

Expiration of Water Shield Pro is at 12 months after production date under dry and sheltered conditions.
